Habitat: Borders of oligohaline tidal marshes, bottomland forests, ditches, roadsides, pastures, fallow fields, disturbed areas. Distribution: NC west to OR, south into Mexico (BCN, CHH, COA, NLE, SON), the original distribution now obscured.
