*Setaria barbata (Lamarck) Kunth. Common name: Mary-grass. Phenology: Sep-Oct. Habitat: Rockland hammock edge, on ballast at Apalachicola (Franklin County, FL), other disturbed areas. Distribution: Native of Africa. Reported for Miami-Dade County (Bradley [in prep.]).

Origin/Endemic status: Subsaharan Africa

Synonymy : = FlGr, FNA25, HC, K4, Meso6, WH3; Panicum barbatum Roxburgh — (basionym)
