Spartina cynosuroides (Linnaeus) Roth. Common name: Giant Cordgrass. Phenology: Jun-Sep. Habitat: Brackish (mesohaline and oligohaline) and freshwater tidal marshes, especially along margins of tidal creeks. Distribution: MA south to FL, west to e. TX.
