Spartina spartinae (Trinius) Merrill ex A.S. Hitchcock. Common name: Gulf Cordgrass. Phenology: Mar-Dec. Habitat: Brackish marshes, coastal prairies, and inland saline situations. Distribution: AL and FL west to TX and Mexico (many states); Bahamas.

Origin/Endemic status: Native
