Lycopodium lagopus (Laestadius ex C. Hartman) G. Zinserling ex Kuseneva-Prochorova. Common name: One-cone Clubmoss. Phenology: Jul-Sep. Habitat: High elevation heathlands. Distribution: Circumboreal, south in North America to c. PA (Rhoads & Klein 1993), Tucker County, in e. WV (Gottlieb 2002), n. IL, MT, WA, and AK.
