Clematis morefieldii Kral ex B.R. Keener. Subgenus: Viorna. Common name: Morefield's Leatherflower, Huntsville Vasevine. Phenology: Jun. Habitat: On vertical limestone exposures, along seasonal washes in open calcareous woodlands. Distribution: Endemic to nc. AL, se. TN, and nw. GA.
