Ranunculus ambigens S. Watson. Subgenus: Auricomus. Section: Flammula. Common name: Water-plantain Crowfoot, Water-plantain Spearwort. Phenology: Apr-Jun. Habitat: Marshes, swampy forests, ditches. Distribution: ME west to MN, south to VA, NC, ne. TN, w. TN, and LA.
