not marked as a favorite taxon Ranunculus ambigens S. Watson. Common name: Water-plantain Crowfoot, Water-plantain Spearwort. Phenology: Apr-Jun. Habitat: Marshes, swampy forests, ditches. Distribution: Maine west to Minnesota, south to Virginia, North Carolina, ne. Tennessee, w. Tennessee, and Louisiana.
