Baptisia hirsuta Small. Common name: Hairy Wild Indigo, Panhandle Wild Indigo. Phenology: Apr-May; Jun-Sep. Habitat: Hammocks, dry pine flatwoods and longleaf pine sandhills. Distribution: Endemic to Florida Panhandle (Escambia, Holmes, Okaloosa, Santa Rosa, and Walton counties) and adjacent Alabama (Covington County).
