Rhynchosia michauxii Vail. Common name: Michaux's Snoutbean. Phenology: Jun-Aug; Aug-Oct. Habitat: Longleaf pine sandhills, dry hammocks, disturbed areas. Distribution: E. GA (one record) south to s. peninsular FL, west to Panhandle FL. The disjunct sites are of uncertain origin. The NC record is a false report.
