Isotrema tomentosum (Sims) H. Huber. Woolly Dutchman's-pipe, Pipevine. Phen: May-Jun. Hab: Bottomland and riparian forests, stream and river banks, disturbed areas. Dist: S. IN, s. MO, and se. OK, south to sw. GA, Panhandle FL, and c. TX. Also cultivated horticulturally and persistent or spreading more widely around eastern North America. FNA also reports that it is escaped in VA.
