Nymphaea jamesoniana Planchon. Common name: Night-blooming Waterlily, Jameson’s Waterlily. Habitat: Ponds, canals, and sloughs; perhaps only introduced in our area. Distribution: FL peninsula; West Indies; Mexico, Central America, and South America.
Origin/Endemic status: Neotropics
Other Comments: Flowers open in the evening, from about 9 p.m. to midnight.
