not marked as a favorite taxon Cordia sebestena Linnaeus. Common name: Orange Geiger-tree. Phenology: Jan-Dec. Habitat: Rockland hammocks, coastal berms, and also planted. Distribution: S. FL; West Indies; s. Mexico and Central America. This species is native in s. FL, as well as planted.
