*Scaevola taccada (Gaertner) Roxburgh. Common name: Beach Naupaka. Phenology: Jan-Dec. Habitat: Coastal strands, disturbed areas on the coast, occasionally inland near cultivated plants. Distribution: Native of the Indian and Pacific Ocean area.

Origin/Endemic status: Paleotropics
