Tragia brevispica Engelmann & A. Gray. Common name: Shortspike Noseburn. Phenology: Apr-Oct. Habitat: Prairies, calcareous woodlands. Distribution: Nc. TX (and possibly sc. OK and w. LA) south through TX to ne. Mexico (COA, NLE, TAM).

Origin/Endemic status: Native
