Pithecellobium bahamense Northrop. Common name: Bahama Blackbead. Phenology: Jan-Dec. Habitat: Pine rocklands. Distribution: S. peninsular FL; West Indies (Bahamas and Cuba). Discovered in s. FL in 2006 (Wunderlin et al. 2010).

Origin/Endemic status: Native

Synonymy : = Bah, Fl3, K4, NS, WH3; = n/a — FNA11.1; = Pithecellobium ×bahamense — POWO; = Pithecellobium ×keyense Britton — Barneby & Grimes (1996). Basionym: Pithecellobium bahamense Northr. 1902
