*Senna pendula (Humboldt & Bonpland ex Willdenow) H.S. Irwin & Barneby var. glabrata (Vogel) H.S. Irwin & Barneby. Common name: Valamuerto. Phenology: Nov-May. Habitat: Disturbed areas. Distribution: Native of South America (mainly Brazil).

Origin/Endemic status: South America

Taxonomy Comments: As interpreted by Irwin & Barneby (1982), one of twenty varieties of a polymorphic S. pendula.

Synonymy ⓘ: = FNA11.1, K4, NS, POWO, SE3, WH3, Irwin & Barneby (1982), Isely (1998); Cassia indecora Kunth var. glabrata Vogel = Cassia coluteoides Collad. — Isely (1975); >< Cassia bicapsularis L., misapplied. Basionym: Cassia indecora Kunth var. glabrata Vogel 1837
