*Pimenta dioica (Linnaeus) Merrill. Common name: Allspice, Pimienta. Phenology: Feb-Jul. Habitat: Disturbed uplands. Distribution: Native of the Neotropics (Mexico, Central America, West Indies).

Origin/Endemic status: Neotropics

Synonymy : = Bah, Fl4, FNA10, K4, Meso4.1, WH3; Myrtus dioica Linnaeus. Basionym: Myrtus dioica L. 1759
