not marked as a favorite taxon *Rhodomyrtus tomentosa (Aiton) Hasskarl var. tomentosa. Common name: Rose Myrtle, Downy Myrtle, Downy Rosemyrtle, Isenberg-bush. Phenology: Mar-Jun. Habitat: Pine flatwoods, other natural and disturbed habitats. An emerging invasive of (at least currently) sw. FL. Distribution: Native of s. China, se. Asia, and the Philippines.
