not marked as a favorite taxon Ageratum littorale A. Gray. Common name: Seaside Mistflower, Keys Ageratum, Seaside Whiteweed. Phenology: Jan-Dec. Habitat: Coastal berms, rockland hammocks, coastal rock barrens. Distribution: S. Florida; West Indies (Cuba, Hispaniola); s. Mexico (Campeche, Quintana Roo, Yucatán); Central America (Belize).

Origin/Endemic status: Native

Taxonomy Comments: See discussion in Nesom (2006ff) about differences between and possible separation of A. littorale (of FL) and A. maritimum (West Indies, etc.). We treat A. littorale as separate, but the matter is poorly resolved.
