*Polystichum luctuosum (Kunze) T. Moore. Common name: Korean Rock Fern. Phenology: Apr-Oct. Habitat: Disturbed areas, especially on rock outcrops alonf streams. Distribution: Native of e. and se. Asia. See Pemberton (2025b) for information about its naturalization in our region.
Origin/Endemic status: E., se., and s. Asia
Taxonomy Comments: P. luctuosum (with type from South Africa) and P. tsus-simense (with type from Asia) are here tentatively synonymized, but the matter needs additional study.
