*Microstachys corniculata (Vahl) A.H.L. de Jussieu ex Grisebach. Common name: Hato tejas. Phenology: Jun-Nov. Habitat: Disturbed longleaf pine sandhill, other disturbed areas. Distribution: S. and c. FL (where presumably introduced); West Indies (Cuba, Hispaniola, Puerto Rico); Mexico, Central America, and South America.
