Hypericum densiflorum Pursh. Mountain Bushy St. John's-wort. Phen: Jun-Sep. Hab: Bogs, streambanks, dry to moist forests, rock outcrops, moist forests, pine savannas. Dist: Sw. PA south to n. GA and c. AL in and near the Mountains; NY (Long Island) and NJ south to SC in the Coastal Plain; s. GA west to AL in the Coastal Plain.
