Hypericum exile W.P. Adams. Section: Myriandra. Phenology: Apr-May. Habitat: Pine flatwoods. Distribution: Endemic to Panhandle FL (Bay, Franklin, Gulf, Liberty, and Washington counties).

Origin/Endemic status: Endemic

Taxonomy Comments: There seems nothing in particular to recommend Robson's reduction of H. exile to a subspecies of H. nitidum.

Synonymy : = Fl2, GW2, K4, NS, WH3, Adams (1962), Adams (1973), Godfrey (1988), Sorrie (2012); = Hypericum nitidum Lam. ssp. exile (W.P.Adams) N.Robson — FNA6, POWO, Robson (1996). Basionym: Hypericum exile W.P.Adams 1962
