Oenothera curtiflora W.L. Wagner & Hoch. Phen: May-Jul (-Aug). Hab: Sandy fields, disturbed areas, and clearings. Dist: IN and IL west to WA, south to MS, and Mexico (PUE); apparently introduced eastward to MA, TN, GA, and SC (the exact eastern edge of the native distribution uncertain).
