Oenothera curtissii Small. Florida Evening-primrose. Phen: May-Sep. Hab: Longleaf pine sandhills, sandy fields, other dry disturbed areas. Dist: Se. SC south to n. peninsular FL, west to s. AL.

Origin/Endemic status: Endemic

Taxonomy Comments: Closely related to O. rhombipetala, which is restricted to the Great Plains, with scattered occurrences east to MI, IL, AR, and LA.

Synonymy: = FNA10, K1, K3, K4, WH3, Dietrich & Wagner (1988), Wagner, Hoch, & Raven (2007); = Raimannia curtissii (Small) Rose ex Small – S; < Oenothera rhombipetala Nutt. ex Torr. & A.Gray – RAB, Munz (1965), misapplied
