Wolffia borealis (Engelmann) Landolt. Section: Pigmentatae. Northern Watermeal. Hab: Still to slowly moving waters of ponds, lakes, beaver ponds, and swamps. Dist: QC west to BC, south to PA, VA (?), KY, TN, MO, and CA. The occurrence in VA is uncertain.
