Oenothera clelandii W. Dietrich, P.H. Raven, & W.L. Wagner. Common name: Sand Evening-primrose. Phenology: Jun-Oct. Habitat: Sand prairies, riverbanks, dry, sandy disturbed areas. Distribution: MI, WI, and MN south to KY and AR; scattered further east as introductions. Reported for SC (Kartesz 1999, 2021), but based on misidentification.
