Dist: AR south to LA, TX, and Mexico (BCN, BCS, COA, DGO, GTO, HGO, MEX, MIC, NLE, OAX, QRO, SLP, TAM, ZAC); disjunct eastward in e. GA (Kartesz 1999), where apparently introduced.
