Callirhoe papaver (Cavanilles) A. Gray. Common name: Woods Poppy-mallow. Phenology: May-Jul. Habitat: Longleaf pine woodlands, dry hammocks, glades, barren, prairie, forest openings. Distribution: N. peninsular FL, Panhandle FL, and sw. GA (Carter, Baker, & Morris 2009) west to e. TX and s. AR (Dorr 1990).
