*Barbarea verna (P. Miller) Ascherson. Early Winter-cress. Phen: Mar-Jun. Hab: Fields, disturbed areas. Dist: Native of Eurasia. Formerly a commonly used winter and spring green in rural parts of our area, still available canned as "Dry Land Cress".
