Potamogeton bicupulatus Fernald. Common name: New England Snailseed Pondweed, Small Pondweed. Phenology: Jul-Sep. Habitat: Sinkhole ponds and streams with acidic water. Distribution: ME west to WI, south to VA (Augusta County), NC, and se. TN.
