Sideroxylon macrocarpum (Nuttall) J.R. Allison. Common name: Big-fruited Buckthorn, Ohoopee Bumelia, Ohoopee Bully. Phenology: May-Jul (-Sep); Aug-Oct. Habitat: Longleaf pine sandhills. Distribution: Endemic to sc. GA (Appling, Candler, Emanuel, Evans, Jeff Davis, Laurens, Long, Montgomery, Pierce, Tattnall, Toombs, Treutlen, and Wheeler counties).
