Sideroxylon rufohirtum Herring & Judd. Common name: Red-haired Bully, Rufous Bully. Phenology: Late May-mid Jul; Sep-Oct. Habitat: Hammocks. Distribution: Ne. FL south to c. peninsular FL.

Origin/Endemic status: Endemic

Taxonomy Comments: Small's species epithet 'rufotomentosa' is blocked from transfer into Sideroxylon by Sideroxylon rufotomentosum Standley, hence the new name Sideroxylon rofohirtum.
