Potamogeton oakesianus J.W. Robbins. Oakes’s Pondweed. Hab: Acidic waters of lakes, streams, bogs, and beaver ponds. Dist: NL (Newfoundland) west to MN, south to VA, n. WV, and n. IL; apparently disjunct in MT, and BC, and possibly in s. AL (Sorrie, pers. comm.).
