*Camellia sasanqua Thunberg. Common name: Sasanqua Camellia. Phenology: Oct-Dec. Distribution: Reported as introduced in NC, SC, GA, and FL (Kartesz 1999). Byrd & Diamond (2018) report its naturalization in AL.

Origin/Endemic status: E. and se. Asia

Synonymy : = K4; = n/a — FNA8, RAB. Basionym: Camellia sasanqua Thunb. 1784
