Potamogeton robbinsii Oakes. Common name: Fern Pondweed, Flatleaf pondweed. Phenology: Aug-Sep. Habitat: Tidal freshwater aquatic beds. Distribution: NS and PE west to Keewatin and AK, south to n. VA, n. IL, s. MN, CO, UT, and CA; disjunct in s. AL (possibly introduced?).

ID notes: The stiff, 2-ranked (distichous) leaf array of this species is distinctive.

Origin/Endemic status: Native
