Potamogeton zosteriformis Fernald. Common name: Flatstem Pondweed. Phenology: Jul-Sep. Habitat: Quiet calcareous or alkaline tidal waters. Distribution: NL (Newfoundland) west to AK, south to n. VA, ne. WV, n. IL, KS, UT, and CA.

Origin/Endemic status: Native
