Stuckenia pectinata (Linnaeus) C. Börner. Common name: Sago-pondweed. Phenology: Jun-Sep. Habitat: Calcareous or brackish waters of ponds, lakes, estuaries, sounds. Distribution: The species is irregularly cosmopolitan, but more commonly encountered in the Great Lakes region.
