Origin/Endemic status: Native
Taxonomy Comments: The typic subspecies, ssp. orizabense, is distributed from Tamaulipas south through Mexico, Central America, to n. South America (Dempster 1981). This entity perhaps warrants specific status separate from G. orizabense.
