*Richardia grandiflora (Chamisso & Schlechtendal) J.A. Schultes & J.H. Schultes. Common name: Largeflower Richardia. Habitat: Yards, 'improved' pastures, disturbed areas. Distribution: Native of South America (mainly Brazil). Near the northern edge of its current documented distribution, it was reported for Alachua County (Kunzer et al. 2009), "rapidly spreading".

Origin/Endemic status: South America

Synonymy : = Fl5, K4, WH3, Lewis & Oliver (1974), Rogers (2005); Richardsonia grandiflora Chamisso & Schlechtendal. Basionym: Richardsonia grandiflora Cham. & Schltdl. 1828
