Spigelia alabamensis (K. Gould) K.G. Mathews & Weakley. Common name: Alabama Pinkroot. Phenology: May-Jun. Habitat: Dolostone glades. Distribution: Endemic to Bibb County, AL (Gould 1996, Allison & Stevens 2001; Weakley et al. 2011).
