Apocynum floribundum Greene. Phenology: Jun-Jul; Sep-Oct. Habitat: Forests, woodlands, roadsides, pastures. Distribution: Newfoundland and Labrador (Newfoundland) west to British Columbia, south to Georgia, Texas, California, and Mexico (Chihuahua, Nuevo León).
Origin/Endemic status: Native
Taxonomy Comments: Sometimes treated as a hybrid, but occurring in populations seemingly lacking one or both of the alleged parents (A. androsaemifolium × cannabinum), and given credence here as a hybrid-derived species.
