not marked as a favorite taxon Odontostephana flavidula (Chapman) Alexander. Common name: Yellow Spinypod. Phenology: Apr-Jul; Jul-Oct. Habitat: Moist, nutrient-rich forests. Distribution: E. South Carolina south to Panhandle Florida, apparently rare throughout its range (the single North Carolina record is rejected).
