not marked as a favorite taxon Matelea floridana (Vail) Woodson. Common name: Florida Milkvine. Phenology: Apr-Aug (-Oct); Jul-Oct (-Dec). Habitat: Beech-magnolia bluffs, mesic ravines, moist hammocks. Distribution: Ne. FL, sw. GA, and c. Panhandle FL south to s. FL.
