Forestiera godfreyi L.C. Anderson. Common name: Godfrey's Forestiera. Phenology: Jan-Feb; Apr-May. Habitat: Shell middens, maritime forests over shell substrate. Distribution: Se. SC (Beaufort, Charleston, and Colleton counties) to e. GA and n. peninsular and e. Panhandle FL.

Origin/Endemic status: Endemic

Synonymy : = Fl6, K4, WH3, Anderson (1985), Godfrey (1988); = n/a — RAB; < Forestiera pubescens Nutt. — S, Brooks (1977). Basionym: Forestiera godfreyi L.C.Anderson 1985
