Hedeoma drummondii Bentham var. drummondii . Common name: Drummond's Hedeoma. Phenology: Jun-Sep. Habitat: Blackland prairies. Distribution: MN and MT south to TX, n. Mexico, and CA; disjunct eastward in MS and AL.

Origin/Endemic status: Native

Taxonomy Comments: A second variety, var. crenulata Irving, is restricted to sc. Mexico.

Synonymy : = Tx, Turner (2011); < Hedeoma drummondii Benth. — GrPl, K4, Mex, NcTx, Irving (1980). Basionym: Hedeoma drummondii Benth. 1834
