Castilleja indivisa Engelmann. Texas Paintbrush. Phen: Mar-May. Hab: Prairies, sandy or silty woodlands, eastwards adventive in dry, disturbed areas, such as roadsides. Dist: AR and OK south to w. LA and TX and Mexico (AGU and CHH).
