not marked as a favorite taxon *Artemisia biennis Willdenow. Common name: Biennial Wormwood. Phenology: Aug-Oct. Habitat: Disturbed areas, especially in sandy soils; also waif in waste area around wool-combing mills (SC). Distribution: Native of the w. United States. Reported for SC by Nesom (2004d); also reported to be naturalized as far east as TN and WV (Hardy County).
