Bigelowia

Bigelowia nuttallii L.C. Anderson. Common name: Glade Rayless-Goldenrod, West Gulf Coastal Plain Rayless-Goldenrod. Phenology: Sep-Oct. Habitat: Prairies, sandstone glades, granite flatrocks, Altamaha Grit glades, and roadbanks. Distribution: W. LA west to e. TX; disjunct eastward in Mountains of ne. AL, Piedmont of c. GA, and Coastal Plain of s. AL, ec. GA (Jones & Coile 1988, Bridges & Orzell 1989), Panhandle FL (Washington County), and wc. peninsular FL (Pinellas County).
