*Glebionis segetum (Linnaeus) Fourreau. Common name: Corn Marigold, Corn Chrysanthemum. Phenology: Apr-May. Habitat: Disturbed areas, trash heaps, field edges; commonly cultivated, rarely escaped, persistent, or as a waif. Distribution: Native of Mediterranean Europe, n. Africa, and w. Asia.
